BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM - The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office issued a traffic alert early Thursday morning following a semi-truck accident.
In the notification posted at 2:26 a.m., the BCSO said its deputies were at the scene of the semi crash on westbound Interstate 40 at the 169 mile marker, near the Carnuel exit. No major injuries were reported.
All westbound lanes of I-40 were shut down for the accident response. An update at 3:50 a.m. stated all lanes had been reopened.
