SANTA FE, NM - A fatal pedestrian collision shut down a portion of Interstate 25 in Santa Fe last week, according to a KOAT report.
The Santa Fe Police Department said a man was walking in the northbound lanes of I-25 Thursday night at about 11 p.m. when he was struck by a car. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Northbound I-25 was closed at the exit to New Mexico 599 for the accident response and investigation, and did not reopen until 6:15 the following morning.
