ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A pedestrian was critically injured in an accident in southeast Albuquerque last Friday, Jan. 31, according to a KRQE report.
The Albuquerque Police Department investigated the crash, and released the following account of what happened.
The driver of a 2005 Ford F-150 was exiting a parking spot in the lot of a Walgreens store on Central Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. The pickup mounted a curb and struck the front of a 2003 Ford F-150. The driver of the 2005 Ford tried to make a U-turn, went west through the parking lot, struck the store and then hit the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was listed in critical condition after being transported to an area hospital.
