According to NMRoads, the crash happened on Interstate 10 east of Deming and was reported at 8:23 a.m. The passing left lane on I-10 westbound was closed from mile marker 87 to mile marker 85 while crews responded to the scene.

Police in Hatch responded to the scene in the area of Canal Street and Jefferson Street Friday night at about 9 p.m. An investigation indicated that Cynthia Zuniga was driving a vehicle on Canal Street when she drove off the road and went into a canal.

Three semi-trailers were involved in the crash. Former police officer sentenced for fatal DWI crash north of AlbuquerqueALBUQUERQUE, NM - A former police officer has been sentenced for causing a car accident that killed two people in Bernalillo County on May 1, 2021, reports KOB. 30-year-old Brandon Barber, an off-duty officer with the Cuba Police Department at the time of the incident, pleaded guilty in December to two counts of vehicular homicide while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 26 years in prison with five years of probation. The crash occurred on Interstate 25 near the Tramway exit north of Albuquerque. Authorities said Barber was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck north in the southbound lanes of I-25 at about 2 a.m. when he crashed head-on into a southbound GMC Yukon SUV.

NMSP searching for driver after fatal accident on I-25ALBUQUERQUE, NM - New Mexico State Police said they are searching for a driver and a vehicle following a fatal crash on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque earlier this month. NMSP issued a news release with an update on the incident that occurred on March 12 on I-25 north at Montano Road at about 8 a.m. An investigation determined that the driver of a 2002 Buick Century was headed north when she encountered a water heater laying in the roadway.
