ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Traffic along Interstate 40 in Albuquerque was disrupted on Friday night due to a vehicle crash, according to a KOAT report.
The New Mexico Department of Transported posted an advisory on the incident on its website NMRoads shortly before 8 p.m. The accident blocked the eastbound lanes of I-40 at Louisiana Boulevard while the scene was being cleared. I-40 eastbound traffic was diverted onto Louisiana Boulevard.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and expect delays. The crash is under investigation by the Albuquerque Police Department.
