ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation alerted drivers to an accident affecting traffic in Albuquerque during Wednesday morning's rush hour.
The notification on the NMRoads web site shortly before 7 a.m. said that the crash happened on Interstate 25 north at mile marker 227, in the area of Comanche Road.
The right lane of the interstate was closed while emergency crews and vehicles were responding to the wreck. Motorists were advised to proceed with caution when traveling through the area and to expect traffic delays.
