The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Mexico said Wednesday that 31-year-old Betrina Harry Grey of Pinedale was sentenced to 37 months in prison for the Oct. 14, 2017 accident.

Deputies responded after three vehicles were involved in the wreck, the BCSO said in a tweet shortly before 3 p.m. It happened on I-40 eastbound at the 170 mile marker near Carnuel. There were no serious injuries reported, according to the sheriff's office.

Matthew Shetima-Joe pleaded no contest to charges of drunk driving and vehicular homicide in connection with the wreck. Authorities said Shetima-Joe was drunk behind the wheel and speeding when he went through a red light and collided with another vehicle at Wyoming Boulevard and Osuna Road. The accident killed the other driver, 21-year-old Victor Sandoval.
