Police said Lovato drove at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour while heading into Santa Fe on U.S. 84-285. The suspect eventually crashed into an SUV at the intersection of St. Francis Drive and Paseo de Peralta at about 3:39 p.m. The driver of the SUV, Beverly Heden, was hospitalized with injuries reported to be life-threatening.
