PORTER TOWNSHIP, MI - A two-car collision in Cass County Saturday night sent one of the drivers to the hospital, reports 953MNC.
The crash occurred at the intersection of US-12 and Robbins Lake Road in Porter Township. The Cass County Sheriff's Office said a 36-year-old Three Rivers man was driving shortly before 9:20 p.m. when he crossed over the center line while trying to negotiate a curve.
His vehicle crashed into a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old woman from Edwardsburg. The woman was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, the sheriff's office said.
Investigators do not believe that drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the accident.
