Woman, 67, dies in accident at Indianapolis intersection

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police and emergency crews responded to a fatal crash at an intersection in Indianapolis on Sunday morning, according to WISH TV.

The incident happened in the area of North Keystone Avenue and 62nd Street/Broad Ripple Avenue on the city's northeast side shortly before 10:10 a.m.

One woman was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. She was identified as 67-year-old Joni Marie Craner.

There was no immediate word on what led to the crash, or whether anyone else was injured.

Northbound Keystone Avenue was closed for several hours for the accident investigation.
