GREENWOOD, IN - A driver being pursued by police crashed in Greenwood on Wednesday evening, reports WXIN.
The Beech Grove Police Department initiated the pursuit for reasons that were not immediately disclosed. The vehicle crashed in the vicinity of South Valley Road and Meridian Street.
Firefighters with the Greenwood Fire Department responding at 6:25 p.m. found that the vehicle had overturned. Entrapment was initially reported, but the four occupants were found outside the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
Traffic at the intersection was shut down in all directions while the wreck was being cleared, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
