SANTA FE, NM - Officials alerted drivers to an accident affecting traffic along New Mexico 475 in the Santa Fe area on Friday afternoon.
In a post on the NMRoads web site, at 12:45 p.m., the New Mexico Department of Transportation said the southbound lanes of NM 475 were closed at mile marker 5 due to a motor vehicle crash with debris in the roadway.
Emergency services crews were at the scene attempting to clear the wreckage. Motorists were advised to expect delays and use caution when traveling through the area.
