SOCORRO, NM - Emergency crews were dispatched to an accident in Socorro County on Monday morning, according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
An advisory on NMRoads at 7:01 a.m. stated that the crash took place on Interstate 25 southbound at mile marker 164, 14 miles north of Socorro. The southbound lanes were shut down while the wreck was being cleared.
Drivers were advised to slow down, obey posted signs and watch for emergency personnel and equipment. Delays were expected in the area.
