JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI - A motorcycle accident in Cass County on Thursday morning left the rider injured, reports WNDU.
The incident happened in the vicinity of M-62 and Brick Church Road in Jefferson Township. According to investigators, 56-year-old Isaac Hunt of South Bend lost control of his motorcycle while traveling around a curve shortly after 6:30 a.m.
Hunt, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Borgess Lee Dowagiac Hospital. Details on his condition were not immediately released.
Police do not believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the incident, but added that foggy conditions may have played a role.
