Several crashes shut down lanes on Interstate 465 eastbound

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indiana State Police said several crashes were disrupting traffic on Interstate 465 on Monday morning.

In a traffic alert at 9:30 a.m, ISP said the multi-vehicle accidents occurred along I-465 eastbound in the vicinity of the 35.6 mile marker. Two right lanes of the interstate were shut down while first responders were dealing with the incidents.

Motorists were advised to look out for the crews, slow down in the work zones, and expect delays when traveling through the area.
