ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A hit-and-run crash in northeast Albuquerque sent a scooter rider to the hospital, police said.
A report by KOAT states that the incident happened Friday night in the area of Central Avenue NE and Broadway Boulevard NE. According to police, a person was riding an electric scooter shortly before 10 p.m. and was struck by a dark-colored sedan heading north on Broadway Boulevard NE.
The victim was listed in critical condition after being transported to an area hospital. The driver of the vehicle involved left the scene before police got there. Anyone with further information on the incident was asked to contact Albuquerque police.
