School bus collides with ambulance on east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis police and first responders were dispatched to a crash on the city's far east side Wednesday morning, WISH TV reported.

The collision, involving a school bus and an ambulance, occurred at about 7:40 a.m. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Mitthoefer Road and 38th Street. Minor injuries were reported, but there was no immediate word on the number of injured or which of the vehicles they were in.

Paramedics treated those injured at the scene. No details were released regarding what led to the accident.
