Rush-hour delays reported on northbound I-465 due to crash

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident caused traffic backups on the northwest side of Indianapolis during Wednesday morning's rush hour.

The crash, reported by WIBC Traffic at 7:43 a.m., took place on northbound Interstate 465 at West 56th Street. The center lane of the interstate was blocked while emergency crews responded to the scene.

Traffic was slowed as a result of the incident going back to Interstate 74/Crawfordsville Road.
