ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers in Albuquerque encountered traffic delays during Tuesday morning's rush hour due to a crash on Interstate 40.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation issued an advisory on NMRoads about the incident at 6:53 a.m. It happened on I-40 westbound at mile marker 165 near Eubank Boulevard. The interstate was reduced to one lane while emergency crews responded to the scene.
Motorists were advised by the DOT to slow down, use caution and expect backups in the area.
