ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office advised motorists of a rollover crash disrupting traffic late Wednesday night.
In an alert issued at 10:43 p.m., the BCSO said the accident occurred on the north frontage road near Interstate 40, just west of Atrisco Vista Boulevard. A preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle may have gone off the freeway and rolled onto the frontage road.
One person was ejected from the vehicle and severely injured. That person was rushed to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque.
Traffic was closed in both directions on the frontage road for the crash response and investigation. Drivers were advised to use caution when traveling through the area, expect potential delays and seek alternate routes.
