INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis police are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on Friday evening.
WTHR reports two cars collided in the area of East 30th Street and Massachusetts Avenue on the city's northeast side. An investigation indicated that the driver of a silver 2014 Chrysler 200 was coming off the connector of the roadways at about 8 p.m. and entered the path of a car going northeast on Massachusetts Avenue, resulting in the collision.
A man in the second vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Ivan Angel Castro, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chrysler left the scene and was last seen headed southwest on Massachusetts Avenue. The driver ande the vehicle are now being sought. Police found the Chrysler's front bumper in the roadway where the crash occurred.
