ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Albuquerque on Friday morning, KOB reports.
Police responded to the scene in the area of Central Avenue and General Arnold Street. According to the investigation, the man was running across the westbound lanes of traffic on Central when he was hit by a vehicle in the third lane.
The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead after being rushed to an area hospital. The driver did not see the pedestrian in the road because of moving traffic, the report said.
The incident remains under investigation by the Albuquerque Police Department.
