INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run incident that took place Friday night in Indianapolis, WXIN reports.
Officers responded to the 2300 block of East Stop 11 Road on the city's south side after the collision happened at about 10:50 p.m. They determined that a man crossing the street there had been struck by a vehicle and killed. The victim was later identified as 28-year-old Jeanclaude Lubunga.
The driver involved left the scene of the crash, but the vehicle believed to have hit the victim was later located. There were no further details on the suspect sought in the case.
