INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle on the southeast side of Indianapolis on Thursday morning, WTHR reported.
The person was hit by a vehicle in the vicinity of Sloan Avenue and East Raymond Street shortly before 7:45 a.m. Police said the victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital and was reportedly in serious condition. The driver involved remained at the scene.
Eastbound Raymond Street was closed at South Sherman Drive while police were investigating the incident.
