Pedestrian injured after being hit by vehicle in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A vehicle vs. pedestrian crash occurred in southwest Albuquerque late Wednesday night, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office.

In a traffic alert posted at 11:49 p.m., the BCSO said deputies responded to the scene at Rio Bravo Boulevard and Isleta Boulevard.  The pedestrian who was struck was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

The driver involved stayed at the scene, and an investigation is underway.

The eastbound lanes of Rio Bravo Boulevard were closed at Isleta Boulevard following the accident.
