ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a pedestrian accident in Albuquerque on Sunday night.
The BCSO's traffic alert, posted at 8:04 p.m., said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Shelly Road SW. The victim was injured and taken to an area hospital. No further details were released on the circumstances leading to the collision.
All lanes of Shelly Road were shut down near the Metropolitan Detention Center while paramedics responded and deputies investigated the incident.
