INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Indianapolis on Sunday morning, reports WTHR.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene in the downtown area just before 4 a.m. An investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found that a male pedestrian was hit by a car near the intersection of North Illinois Street and West 10th Street.
IThe driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The investigation is continuing into the circumstances that led to the collision.
