Overturned vehicle slows traffic along Interstate 65 south

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident was causing traffic delays for drivers on the northwest side of Indianapolis on Thursday afternoon.

An alert from WIBC Traffic at about 4 p.m. said that a vehicle had overturned onto its side along southbound Interstate 65 at 38th Street (Guion Road). The right two lanes of the interstate were shut down while emergency crews cleared the wreck.

Traffic was reported to be backing up to Lafayette Road.
