ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A driver was injured following a multi-vehicle accident in Albuquerque recently, according to police.
KRQE reports Albuquerque police are investigating the incident that happened on Interstate 40 west between Tramway Boulevard and Juan Tabo Boulevard on Feb. 12.
Investigators determined that a driver lost control while trying to change lanes and hit another vehicle before it spun around and was struck by a semi-truck. As the first driver got out of his car and tried to run across I-40, he was struck by another vehicle.
The victim was listed in critical condition after being taken to an area hospital. Police were trying to determine whether speed or alcohol were contributing factors in the wreck, our Albuquerque car accident attorney adds.
