Multiple injuries in head-on collision in Nottawa Township

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI - A head-on collision on Nottawa Road in St. Joseph County Saturday resulted in multiple injuries, reports WZZM.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office said a northbound driver, a 16-year-old Mendon resident, crossed over the center line near Wasepi Road. That vehicle then collided with a van headed south. Two juvenile passengers in the van were flown to an area hospital, while multiple other adults and juveniles involved in the crash were transported by ambulance.

No details were immediately released on the conditions of the injured victims. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the wreck.
