Multi-vehicle crash snarls traffic on eastbound Interstate 465

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident snarled traffic on the south side of Indianapolis during Wednesday morning's commute.

WIBC Traffic posted an alert shortly before 7 a.m. stating that the crash occurred on eastbound Interstate 465 just after the Interstate 65 interchange. It reportedly involved multiple vehicles, including a dump truck. There was no immediate word on whether anyone had been hurt.

Two center lanes were blocked on I-465 as emergency crews responded, causing delays past I-65.
