LAS CRUCES, NM - A multi-vehicle accident was disrupting traffic in the Las Cruces area on Wednesday morning, according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
In an advisory on NMRoads issued at 9:14 a.m., the DOT said the crash occurred on Interstate 25 south at mile post 2, about two miles north of I-25/I-10. The middle and passing lanes of the interstate were closed while crews were responding to the scene.
Drivers were asked to slow down, obey posted signs, and watch out for emergency personnel and equipment. Delays were expected until the wreck could be cleared.
