INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision in Indianapolis Thursday night, police said.
A report by WXIN stated that the crash happened in the area of East Minnesota Street and East Street. The motorcyclist collided with a parked car at that location sometime before 10 p.m.
The rider was taken to an area hospital, but no details were immediately available on his condition. Two adults and a toddler were in the parked car. One of the occupants, a woman, was hospitalized with injuries not related to the crash.
Speed may have been a contributing factor in the incident, according to investigators with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
