Man killed in two-vehicle crash on Interstate 465 southbound

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A two-vehicle accident in Indianapolis on Thursday night left one of the drivers dead, according to Indiana State Police.

WXIN reported that the crash happened on Interstate 465 southbound near English Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. The two vehicles involved in the collision both wound up in a ditch, ISP said.

The driver who was killed was identified as 36-year-old Martin Terrell Mays.

An investigation is underway to determine what caused the accident.
