INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A pedestrian accident on the far south side of Indianapolis left a man critically injured, WTHR reported.
The victim was taken to a local hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Thursday night at about 7 p.m. The incident occurred in the area of South Meridian Street and Stop 11 Road.
The pedestrian was listed in critical condition. Police are investigating the crash, and said they do not believe impairment was a contributing factor.
However, the driver of the vehicle involved did provide a blood sample for analysis as part of the investigation.
