SHELBYVILLE, IN - A driver was arrested following a fatal collision in Shelby County on Wednesday morning, WXIN reported.
Two vehicles crashed on Morristown Road near Rafferty Road at about 8:12 a.m. The Shelby County Sheriff's Department said a driver going north crossed over into the southbound lane and collided head-on with another car.
The driver of the car that was struck died at the scene. The first driver, identified as 28-year-old Trevor Wilkins, was charged with driving under the influence causing death.
The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff's department.
