INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Authorities said a pedestrian accident near downtown Indianapolis left a man dead, WISH TV reported.
The incident happened last Friday, when a man was struck by a vehicle at about 4:15 p.m. in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street and 25th Street. Police officers arrived at the scene to find the victim still alive, but he was pronounced dead the following day at a hospital in the Indianapolis area.
The man was identified as 73-year-old Theodore Taylor.
The driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene following the collision, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
