HANCOCK COUNTY, IN - A truck accident shut down a portion of Interstate 70 and snarled traffic in Hancock County on Thursday afternoon.
A post from WIBC Traffic at 3:13 p.m. stated that multiple semis were involved in the crash on I-70 westbound. Traffic was brought to a halt for over three and a half miles going back to State Road 9.
Drivers were advised to reroute by getting off at SR-9, going south, and then head west to Mount Comfort Road.

Hancock Co., WB-70 is *closed* at C.R. 200 W because of a crash involving multiple semis. Traffic is stopped for over 3.5 miles from the crash site to S.R. 9.
