CIBOLA COUNTY, NM - The New Mexico State Police issued a traffic alert following a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the NMSP's post at 4 p.m., the accident happened on Interstate 40 between milepost 89 and milepost 90 in the Grants area. All lanes of the interstate were shut down in both directions while State Police were at the scene investigating. There was no immediate word on whether anyone had been injured.
