SANTA FE, NM - A woman was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Santa Fe last week, police said.

A report by KOB states that the incident happened Tuesday on Paseo de Nopal sometime after 6:10 p.m.  Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene to find three people had been struck by a vehicle.

One of them, a 40-year-old woman, died after being taken to Christus St. Vincent Hospital.  The two other victims, children 12 and 8 years old, sustained minor injuries and were treated and released.

Police said they later found the vehicle involved in the incident, but were continuing to seek any information that would further their investigation.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office.
