GALLUP, NM - Police officers in Gallup were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon.
In a Facebook post, the Gallup Police Department said the incident happened at the intersection of West Highway 66 and Rico Street at abouat 3:47 p.m. Alcohol was suspected to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
Traffic was restricted in both directions on West Highway 66, as well as on Rico Street, while an investigation was being conducted. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
