Fatal wreck reported on near north side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis police officers were called to the scene of a fatal accident on the city's near north side on Thursday evening.

According to a WIBC report, the incident took plae in the area of Fall Creek Parkway North Drive and East 32nd Street at about 7 p.m.

One person was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.  There was no word on whether anyone was injured.

Police are investigating to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
