HANCOCK COUNTY, IN - A crash in Hancock County Thursday morning left one person dead, according to WISH-TV.
The accident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. It happened along U.S. 40 between Cumberland and Greenfield and was reported shortly before 7 a.m. The crash closed down US 40 between County Road 500 W and County Road 600 W. No details were immediately released on the victim's identityh.
Westbound traffic was being diverted to 525 West until the road reopened later in the morning.
