INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Authorities said one person was killed in an accident involving a dump truck on the south side of Indianapolis Thursday morning.
According to a report by WISH, the incident happened on Interstate 465 eastbound near Bluff Road sometime before 5 a.m.
Indiana State Police said it is believed that the victim was working on a dump truck on the side of I-465 when the vehicle rolled over them. The person's identity was not released.
The right two lanes of the interstate were closed for about two and a half hours while police and emergency crews responded to the scene.
