Driver, passenger killed in head-on collision in LaGrange County

LAGRANGE COUNTY, IN - Two people died when their vehicle was involved in a crash in LaGrange County on Saturday, according to a WBND report.

The accident took place along State Road 9 near County Road 200 South. Investigators learned that the driver of a 2020 Toyota was going southeast and crossed over the center line into the northbound lane. The vehicle collided head-on with a 2011 Toyota Tundra. The Tundra driver said he saw the other vehicle enter his lane and attempted to brake and swerve to avoid the collision.

The driver of the 2020 Toyota died at the scene while the vehicle's female passenger died on the way to Parkview Regional Medical Center. The Tundra was in critical condition at the same hospital.
