ELKHART COUNTY, IN - A single-vehicle accident in Elkhart County early Tuesday morning left a driver injured, WSBT reports.
The incident occurred on US-33 near Fairfield High School at about 5 a.m. A police investigation indicated that a motorist lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road. Authorities arrived to find that the car was on its side and partially on a tree.
The driver, a man from Columbia City, was reported to have suffered a possible head injury and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
