JEFFERSONVILLE, IN - A crash involving a school bus in southern Indiana Tuesday morning sent the driver and three students to the hospital, WHAS reports.
The accident occurred in the 5300 block of Charlestown Pike in Clark County at about 7 a.m. Indiana State Police said the driver of a Greater Clark County Schools District bus drove off the side of the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver and one student were taken to an area hospital by ambulance, while two other students were transported by private means to the hospital. All of the injuries were believed to be minor.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash, and said there are no indications that the driver was impaired. The incident shut down Charlestown Pike as Jeffersonville Police conducted their investigation.
