Crash shuts down portion of State Road 2 in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, IN - Emergency crews were at the scene of a crash in western St. Joseph County Wednesday morning, WSBT reports.

One vehicle was involved in the incident, which occurred on State Road 2 near Bendix Woods at about 6:30 a.m.

No one was injured, but the accident caused a fuel leak that shut down the eastbound lanes of State Road 2 near Strawberry Road.

There was no immediate word on when the road would be reopened as crews worked to clean the spill.
