Crash shuts down 4 lanes on Interstate 25 south in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation issued a traffic advisory Friday morning following a crash in Albuquerque.

The incident, reported on NMRoads at 6:43 a.m., took place on Interstate 25 southbound at mile marker 225.  The four right lanes of I-25 south were shut down at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue while the scene was being cleared.

Drivers were advised to slow down, use caution and expect delays when traveling through the area, and seek alternate routes.
