HANCOCK COUNTY, IN - A crash involving a car carrier shut down a stretch of Interstate 70 in Hancock County Wednesday night, according to Hancock County 911.
A post on X at 9:15 p.m. stated that the accident took place on eastbound I-70 at mile marker 111, about six miles east of Greenfield. No injuries were reported in the incident, which also reportedly involved a semi.
Large backups were reported while the wreck was being cleared, and drivers were advised to exit at mile marker 104 in Greenfield. All lanes of the interstate were reopened by 4 a.m. Thursday, Fox59 reported.
